fun!

statement aside (which gets across), here are my thoughts:

Controls:
Very playable and intuitive, grabs always grab, strike always strikes. Could have used a move guide though.

Pacing:
Gameplay pace is good, and the cutscenes are skippable as they should.

Visuals:
Keeping perspective, they're good. Nifty grapple animations, though the pace in the face-punching grapple is weird (slow?). I have a suggestion or two though.

1.- there is some way to smoothen the edges on the crowd. That would help a lot. Also, some oldies used to wave the crowd front polygons around a bit so from far you could see movement and not a static crowd.
2.- The fog in the arena shows ugly artifacts on the ceiling corners. Keep the fog, reshape/change the ceiling.
3.- Face textures need serious work. They look like lego faces. Retexture from a photo? if thats not an option, consider asking for help drawing a base face, and then modify for each character.
4.- Faces again, the basic head needs a chin and a nose. This would greatly help towards making the characters look human.

Fun factor:
good ol wrestling. If you like wrestling games, this one does the job. Suggestions:

1.- some grapple-escape rules need to be set and applied for both the player and CPU alike.
2.- There are collision glitches here and there. They're sporadic, so its not really horrible, just annoying at times.
3.- Throwing things is mostly useless, as they're thrown too far and too high. Auto-targeting thrown items would be a nice addition.

Good work, and good luck!

This game is quite impressive and is by far the best offering I have seen in the Game Developer Showcase. I played it in the library, and it attracted quite an audience.

Great framerate. Great 3d models. Great job.
