Good game :) I was only able to get to level 6 in the few minutes I played though. How many levels are there?

I was surprised that it was only an exe, does DarkBasic compile the art in it, or did you do it yourself?

Anyway, nice job!

Thanks for the comments.

The levels keep going up and up indefinitely. Every level you go up, the aliens fire more bullets, and the bullets go faster. I've been able to get up to level 10. Around level 8 it starts to get pretty hard.

Dark basic does compile everything into the executable. It's a slick little language, but I have my doubts as to wether it can create something of professional quality. For making a little game like this it worked out great. (although I am disappointed that it compiled into a 15MB .exe). I did this with the standard version, so it only cost me $20 on Amazon.

Thanks again for playing
