About: This is a prototype of a space game under development by Geist Software Labs. The demo consists of a very large environment containing two procedural planets as well as few avatars, vehicles, a shuttle, a space station and star gates. The graphics engine supports seamless transition between any two points in the environment and you can use different objects to fly, walk or drive around.

Description

This is mainly a demo of the environment rather than a playable prototype, but it is still quite captivating just to walk and fly around in a space large enough to contain the earth and moon. The planets are generated procedurally up 1.5 meter resolution and contain trees and oceans.

Once the demo starts you can use the radar screen to select different objects and enter the vehicle, shuttle or walk through the star gate. Try to fly the shuttle to the station and land in the hangar instead of using the stargate. You can only reach the red planet using the shuttle. It's worth while though, because the red planet offers some stunning views.

We always welcome artists to participate in developing the prototype

System Requirements

Dual Core CPU, 512 MB graphics adapter - GeForce 8800 or better. Don't know about ATI cards yet. Stay tuned...
