I love it, but the pulsing block and the white ejaculatory stream of projectiles gives my brain such a dirty feeling.

The feel of jumping and such is dead on. One thing to note: when you hit escape and then go back into the game, it just keeps on going. There's no "Restart Game" function.

It says it can't find the main class, and the program will now exit.

yeah, this is why I hate Java. I only used it because I knew I could quickly do 2D graphics routines with it.

try from the command prompt in the same directory as the jar file
java -jar BlockBlast.jar
(or whatever the name of the jar file is)

though you probably just need to update your JVM.

3 Hours is a lot for this game.
That could easily be done in 1-1.5 hours.
Although the movement is nicely implemented :)
