About: Invasion is a Turn Based Strategy game I have been developing for about a month now. The game is modeled after the advance wars series of games, but plays somewhat like a table-top strategy game.

Thats quite good, you need to find better sprites though. Keep it up!

I'm planning to complete 12 more missions for the complete game. I know that sounds like alot, but I've already got alot of the ideas planed.

Fun. Very fun.

It's a great little game. Plus the graphics are great (because I did them)!

Whoah, nice game actually. I'm thinking of doing an Advance Wars style game like this.

A few hints: Fix sprites into one place, dont overlap. Make it so units move by squares - like Advance Wars. And maybe some Instructions on the bottom panel

e.g

Mouse isn't over anything:
- Move mouse over units to view stats
- Click on units to move/fire

Mouse over terrain:
- Defense: +1/+2/+3 etc

Mouse over Unit:
- Left click to move
- Right click to fire

Unit in Moving state:
- Left Click in Blue Circle to move
- Left Click outside Blue Circle to cancel

Unit in Firing State:
- Right Click on enemy Unit to Fire
- Right Click on anything buy enemy unit to cancel fire

-------

Something like that, I'd like to talk to the guy who made this personally please. My email (also MSN) is skarmachild@hotmail.co.uk

Nice game. I generally agree with skarmachild's comments. Making it grid based would definitely be advantageous in many ways although it feels nicely unique as it is now.
I had a crash on the third level the first time i played it. The STDERR file said something about a segmentation fault and SDL parachute deployed or something. Sorry, i should have saved the error report before playing the game again (it worked fine and loaded the second time). Can't think of anything unusual i was doing to cause the crash.

Also, i'm assuming the "evil red army" is a purely hypothetical opponent and this game isn't shameless anti-communist propaganda...
