More information on circumstances:
I had about two months to build this game. However, my team only spent the first couple of days planning, and such the game was poorly planned out inside (the code is a spaghetti mess as we ran out of time and I hacked features in and out "just to make it work"). By far, the first game project to ever threaten to give me a heart attack. I spent a week pulling 20-hour days while balancing my senior year classes and finals in order to just get rid of all of the memory leaks (I learned a lot about good software development with this little baby).

Not like that's an excuse for the lack of content, but I was so busy putting out fires near the end of the project that I didn't have time to build even one fully-featured map. You can wander around and see what I was getting at, though.

My next project (CSRPG2) will be, by far, a much better implementation. I'm almost done it, and it should be up here by next month. :)

I hope you guys at least enjoy this, I know quite a few people who are fans of it despite its humble beginnings, slow engine and relative lack of features. It does have some really amazing bits -- namely, the big nasty spell at the very end of your spell list.

Funny, this sounds like all of my projects.

I couldn't get it to run on a G5 with 10.3 :(

It runs fine on my G4 with 10.3.8. Do you have SDL, SDL_image, SDL_mixer and SDL_ttf installed from www.libsdl.org? Otherwise, the app will just bounce once and disappear from your dock without an error message.
