All feedback in the realms of 'positive' and 'constructive' are welcome equally. If you spot any bugs, or just have a qualm with a gameplay feature/quirk, please let me know so I can make Gundown into the best game I can. :)

Thanks!

I love it! I got to approximately round 29 before deciding I had enough. Well done, really.

That's really addicting, I got to level 31 and decided I should take a break heh. I'll definately be playing it later too. Maybe I just missed something but seems like it says double kill most of the time, even when I get lots at a time, but sometimes it will say other things like triple.

Awesome game.

It's my fault (naturally). The double/triple/massacre kill messages are calculated per explosion, not per shot-from-tank. I should patch that up!

@Everyone: Thanks hugely for the positive feedback. You have no idea how motivational it is. :)

Wow, that was pretty cool. I was expecting it to shoot like bullets and such, but using the ballista style firing mode was awesome! It seemed kinda unique from alot of the old school shooters I've played because of that. Plus the upgrades were a nice touch as well!

way too easy. after round 31, full upgrades, and $61,000 extra, i found myself bored. the ambulance every round (even multiple times per round) takes the challenge out. sometimes the little red guys dont move at all, or are moving way too slow to notice. the game ends up being a test to see if you can get all the fast moving units before they cross.

its a pretty good start, however, i think it would be more fun if:

1. the player defended something tangible (little buildings or whathaveyou). as it is the enemy crosses the tracks and for some reason you lose life.
2. the enemy shot back. this would give way to another upgrade: armor. it would also give better pace to each level. the enemy rolls up, stops, then fires. whereas the little dudes can fire on the run, etc...
3. the frame rate wasnt so ridiculously low. with full upgrades, after the player fires the number of explosions and little dudes splatting the game runs at about 1/8 speed.

good stuff though

Very Nice! I ended up in the twentysomethings, before finally being defeated. Great fun, but I was always left cleaning up the red soldier people at the end of a level. Not that i'm not greatful for the potential health truck that would sometimes come in that time, but it seems they are always the only thing left.

Had an urge to play Gundown tonight and got to 32 before I finally lost. I still think it's to easy. :P It would be more addictive if it was harder. But it sure was fun.

This was a very impressive and enjoyable game. I really enjoyed it. However, I found a few minor flaws.
1) Sometimes, the red people would be immobile. Also, they seem a little underpowered, as they would be picked off easily at the end of the round.
2) There was no cap for the number of medics in a round, so someone could at the end of the round wait for a medic to come, since at the end I found that generally the only people left are the incredibly slow red people.
3) The tanks/machines seemed a little overpowered in the later rounds, having not only blast resistence but large numbers and higher speeds.

Other than these, though, this was terrific to play! Keep up the good work!
