Absolutley Awesome. So when are you going to work for Ubisoft?

Thanks to the map you can shoot the boss from the other side of the map!

Great game, just put some work into the ship design and you'll have a retail grade game (kinda). I wish I could get allegro to compile :(

Congrads on the game. Its quite addictice, i'll never get tired of taking down the boss.

You've inspired me to make my own 2d space sim using the allegro library! Wish me luck.

Good job finishing this! The graphics are nice and the game feels polished. The controls were confusing for me at times but I think its just because I'm not used to them. The survivor mode with the new ships and weapons is a nice touch. I like the swirling rockets on the juggernaut.

Hands down, One of the best games on the Showcase I've ever played. I wish it was longer though :(.

Just curious, but what graphics API did you use for it. SDL?

@dcosborn: Thanks!

@bladerunner627: And a big thanks for playing it! I used Allegro for the graphics/sound/input, and FMOD for the music.

Very fun game. Good work. Now, if only this stupid laptop would stop shutting off...

Again, nice job, and I expect more fun games from you.

It's an awesome game, the final boss was really fun to blast away at.

I really didn't expect there to be so many different weapon types, really kept it interesting.
