 This year, the IGF is being held outside the expofloor in the main hall. This is a good idea, as the IGF was not able to get a decent presence last year with the noise and rush of the expo going on around it. Given that the entries will be set up outside the expo floor's hours, it's likely that the IGF booths will be mobbed during the breaks between the lectures. |
 The ad-banners are going up fast. LipSync seems to be the first, with their creepy
mascot looming over the crowds a full day before the floor opens. |
 Construction
started early on the booths. The expo floor isn't opening for two days, but there are still teams of folks assembling
the various booths, platforms, and pavilions. |
 In an odd attempt to get a jump on the booksellers in the expo, the GDC has opened up an impromptu bookstore outside the expo floor. There was really nothing overly interesting there, though. No pre-release books or interesting specials. |
