I am just wondering how to make sparks seen million times in games. I am making race game and want to show sparks when two objects collide. Are they some kind of specialy rotated particles or what... |

lightmapping question

I need to do lightmapping for my project. I want to generate uv coordinates for meshes and do some light calculations on some texture (lightmap). I want to do it taking into consideration mesh normal map, and also shadowing ... First my problem... |

Lightmapping, use or not?

I am just thinking is there any practical use for lightmapping in modern engines for modern gpu`s. Take for example Prey, how they achieve such good textures, are they using lightmaps+diffuse textures or just have insane good artists+ dynamic lights... |

Demo is already given to our preliminary beta testers, and it will soon be available for download. And yes, our game will probably be in three languages English, German, and Serbian. |

Well I`ll tried to change my country name to Serbia and Montenegro but in the list there is only Yugoslavia, when I was firstly registered it was only Fed rep of Yugoslavia I suppose.
