How do I use load JPEG files into onto direct draw surfaces??? ASAP! Does anybody have a pre-made function I can have to load JPEG files (as opposed to BMP files) onto DDraw surfaces? Or, I dunno, something else I can use to the same extent?

Locking Framerates in DDraw How do you lock the framerate in Direct Draw 7? Am I stupid or something? I can't figure it out, but I know how to do it in D3D!

Direct X fade-outs and fade-ins. I'm sure that there's an easy way to make DirectX do a fade-out and a fade-in. Unfortunately I don't know what that easy way is. Any help would be welcomed.

Locking Framerates in DDraw If you could, be a little more extra-specific. You don't have to, but I find I get it easier from other people than the MSDN Library.

How do i go about starting a GameDev business? I realize that it's not an opinion forum, but I think he's got a good point. The only thing is, to make a game worth selling (i.e. what to start a company for) you have to have a team. Unless you know an able team of eager game developers willin...
