Killing Engine This is from our game Killing Engine. It's in beta 0.9 now and we're almost done. I was testing some shadows in this shot. The game is a multiplayer game that you play over the internet. More images at killingengine.com.

Killing Engine, free multiplayer shooter I thought I'd tell something about our project here, too. It's a game called Killing Engine and it's going to be a free multiplayer shooter, as the title of this post tells. It's now in beta version 0.71, but were hopeful in publishing a public beta...

Aliens of the Sky (a Gradius style shooter) Me and my friend are about to start making this gradius style game with c++ & sdl. It would contain 3 levels + boss. We're both pretty new with sdl so I would appreciate any and all advice, hints and tips about that and in general with this type...

Minimap in large space game I don't know about a minimap. How about locking into some coordinates and using some sort of hyper warp to do the travelling? Or You don't have to make the smaller planets smaller in the map screen. The ship's got a radar that tells the pilot a...

The Dead Never Die: The Chronicles of Survivors ( New Screens - PART III ) The graphics look great but don't really tell anything about the game. What kind of answers did you wanna hear? Looks great but not really interesting. :)

Puzzle Dimension As everyone has already pointed out, the graphics are REALLY AWESOME! :) ...except for the HUD. That just seems a bit out of place there. At the same time it looks kinda scary... too many things going on. And looks like there are these hug...

Unleashed: The Revolution Looks pretty good, but the atmosphere really needs some work. What's the background of this place? It looks like you dropped few creatures in the middle of a desert and left them there to fight. It's just brown sand and that's it. There aren't any au...

Synchronicity Have you done those graphics all by yourself? I don't mean to sound mean, but they look really ugly. It could be worse, sure, but they are in need of some real improvement. One of the most important things in games for me are graphics and I gu...

Perlin Noise Terrain Raycasting with SSAO and SSDM Looks really cool. Very underwater looking atmosphere there. How about some sharper terrains like volcanic environments?

Killing Engine v1.0 Quote:Original post by Drew10th Just tried out the game. Unfortunately nobody else was on but I believe I could really get into it. Constructive criticism: 1. There is a delay between pushing a key and the sprite actually moving. That is...

Killing Engine Thanks! :) I'm not sure if it's got to do anything with the connection but rather with the graphics. If we'd have some other servers out there to compare it with, maybe you could tell.

Killing Engine v1.0 Yeah, I'm not sure how this would work on iPhone. Also the resolution here is 1024x768 and because of this the battle is often really heated when it gets on. You know... there's only so little viewing space on the screen... and if...
