How to Make a Compelling Main Character My own process, I've actually avoided any kind of formulaic "designated weakness" and just tried to make a bunch of characters who are characterized as not being each other, and challenging them. As for theme, I just puke out what I can and then s...

Programmer at 40+? I taught my wife of 26 to program. She just plain got it, and managed to write some useful programs for use at work. Her education? Masters in literature. Did dramatically better than others I've tried to teach at much younger ages, including some wh...

Dear America Well it's hebrew just like my names (Joe Dan) but it's certainly less common in America and the only "Hussein"s Americans know are the late King of Jordan and the guy we just smashed. But anyway, yeah I get you that it might happen that way.

Direction of my Plot What if this was worked into a more narrowly focused game? Like you have a multiplayer RPG with lots and lots of players doing different things, and there is the eggs, and it can be found, moved around, hidden, protected, and if it is hatched, the...
