Hi guys, I'm an italian programmer and I must create a flight simulator. I've a big problem...the Gimbal Lock problem!!!
How can I eliminate this problem with the quaternions??
I found some functions in DX to do this but I don't understand to resol... |

Hi guys, how can i retrive if a point(x,y,z) is behind a thing?...but i cannot use line from point to my view position(too calculation).

Weapon for 3° person camera
|
Sorry for my english but i’m italian.
My problem is: how can I simulate a weapon under my view(i.e. quake, half life ecc)and move correctly this weapon every time I move my camera?

How can i set a texture for a mesh created with, in example, D3DXCreatepolygon or ..createBox.
I use SetTexture(0, mytextureData) but nothing...why?
Must I set the material?Nooooo
