SDL_DOUBLEBUF Question.

Hi,
Just trying SDL for first time. What is the Doublebuf surface called? I create a
SDL_Surface* pSurface = SDL_SetVideoMode ( 800 , 600 , 32, SDL_FULLSCREEN|SDL_SRCCOLORKEY|SDL_DOUBLEBUF|SDL_SWSURFACE );
I can flip with SDL_Flip(pSurface); b... |

Code seams fine to me too. Had you used this font before? Maybe try a different font size too. |

Good game. Ya I couldnt tell how much energy I had so a graphical display would be nice. The explosion effect is pretty good. You do the graphics or are they borrowed?

SDL Fullscreen lacking

When I started SDL, I was told just to do a custom mouse in FULLSCREEN mode. Some bug in the API. That is just load a bitmap and draw that at the mouse cooridanates. |

Looking for a FSM tutorial

I'd be interested in a FSM tool/article. I've just done a simple FSM for controlling my program, but will want more complex FSM for the AI of the space ships in my game. |

No double buffer, eh? (solved)

Oh, you never said how not working. If you stated something like image not moving properly or image left behind after drawing next one, that would have helped. As you found out, even with double buffering it doesn't magically clear the screen... |

Well played for a bit..Speed seams fine on my P4 2.4Ghz 256 RAM GeForce 5200 124 RAM. Only thing I could see "wrong" with destroyable planets is setting up the kill shot of other playa... |
