Physx in .net +1 for PhysX.Net. PhysX itself is pretty great, and the PhysX.Net wrapper has been simple to use and full-featured :)

Need for Speed 1 remake in XNA VladR - have you played the game? All 3 sections of the Alpine track are playable. And I totally agree - thats my favorite track of all time too!

Need for Speed 1 remake in XNA thanks for the comments. Yes it does still need more work, but I got to the point where if I started trying to add modern features like proper shadows, dynamic lighting, more detailed models, no scenery popup etc etc, it wouldn't be NFS1 any more. ...

MDX 2.0 DirectSound PrimaryBuffer Awesome, thanks! I've been wondering why this doesn't work for ages :) As for why I'm not just using XNA audio - you can't load arbitary files at runtime and play them. They have to be compiled in at build-time. That just doesn't work for me.

PhysX vehicle You can get slip information on each wheelshape from wheelShape::GetContactData(). LateralImpulse I've found pretty useful for determining how much force is pushing a wheel sideways. Instead of adding a local force to your car to make it slide...
