lol, the dx requirement is for the graphics, and the internet connection to download the game data (installer has 2megs, the game data to download has 30 :P ), and it updates the game automatically when there's a new release, for the sake of convenie... |

all the things you mentioned (models textures filtering) doesnt significantly improve performance in Esenthel.

that's because you dont have a good video card. 1300 has very low performance..
but you can decrease the visual effects - edit the config.txt
and set
width = 640
height = 480
shadows = 0
motionblur = 0
lowering resolution and turning t... |
