There actually is a light above the table, but it's not visible in those screenshots. You should probably be able to see it in the video. As for adjusting the lighting to make the table brighter and the background darker, I'll ask my artist partner... |

Ok, I did some more research on the topic of XLA and here's the deal.
You -cannot- use just any C++ DLL as is with XNA Express on XBOX 360.
