visualstudio2005 upgrade problem I've just upgraded from vs6.0 to vs2005 and am trying to compile my old project(VS6.0) with it. After sorting out my initial problem with the winnt.h file and then a sprintf function call error, I've now got it successfully compiled but when I try to...

Tile Artist Wanted for 2D game Hi, I probably can't help seeing as I'm not a good artist myself. Are the fish supposed to look real or cartoonish, and is it just the fish you want or the whole game? Also if the smallest size fish is about 16*16 whats the game screen size? Sounds...

A traggic event Cheers for the positive feedback, get's me motivated to finish it. The game's set in 1934, when only black'n'white movies came out. It seemed like a good idea to stick with it, set the tone maybe. The red blood is just there to make the emblem(o...

Easy Question Quote:Original post by pulpfist AFAIK there is no such thing as a color palette in 16/24/32 bit images. What I did when I changed my 8 bit code to 32 bit was to skip and forget about the color palette all together. The RGB macros is able to desc...
