Game Development Showcase
The Game Development Showcase was originally started by Ernest Pazera in 1998 as the Game Developer's Workshop (GDW). At the time, the Workshop focused on providing feedback for games and projects in development, and its popularity quickly soared.

When GameDev.net was launched and began to grow, we took on the GDW and converted it into the Game Development Showcase, with the purpose of showcasing visitor's games and projects with an opportunity for feedback from other visitors. We weren't ready for the quick surge in popularity with the launch of the GDS, and after about two years of operation with limiting software resulting in a ridiculous maintenance effort, we had to shut down the GDS.

But now it's back and better than ever! The GDS is part of the GameDev.net premium service, GDNet+, which provides you with plenty of server space and unlimited projects to upload and showcase. If you're interested in using the GDS to showcase your project, then signup for GDNet+ today!

Of course, if you're just looking for some games to play, feel free to browse the listings and post feedback to the developers! Most importantly, have fun!
