Description

I made this game for a few different reasons, mostly because I used to make games like this all the time back in my BASIC days and thought it'd be fun to make one again. Also, for a while I was considering trying to get a mini-contest in the lounge going: "Make a stupid little text adventure!", but decided I'd probably be the only person to make one. I submitted it here because I just subscribed to GDNet and wanted to submit something...
Also, in case you were wondering, the name Maverick Ventura comes from my younger brothers first two cars, a '73 Pontiac Ventura and then a '76 Ford Maverick, and I thought it sounded cheesily cool :). One more thing, it was made to be a bit hard and annoying, but not nearly as bad as my old ones. I really did put a lot of work into this game (takes a long time to write up all those room descriptions and death sequences), so try not to hate it too much, I promise not to do it again ;)
