About:
This was a game developed with Nasmw and Alink as a term project for an x86 Assembly course. I plan to add features to it as my free time provides.
Please offer only constructive criticism. The intent of the GD Showcase is to help the developer create the best game they possibly can. Show them you support their efforts when posting.

Well, it doesn't work, and I have no idea how it would fit in 9kb anyway.

Because it's written in assembly without any outside libraries. (If I loaded the maps and sprites from a file instead of embedding them in their own data section, it'd be considerably smaller.)
What OS? Any other system info. and what happens when it doesn't work would help out greatly.
Pretty impressive to fit a game in that small of a file size. I do agree with the others who mentioned how tough it is to survive, though. ;) I say give the main character a rocket launcher, that'd balance it all out. :p
