Keep in mind that I don't really know your skill level, and knowing that is important when giving criticism that will be helpful.

The keyboard input was clunky, meaning that when I pressed the up and down key, it didn't necessarily respond. From this, I can only presume that you are using something like DirectInput or GetAsyncKeyState(or the equivalent), which is completely unnecessary in a game like this.

Visually, the game is looking good. You already stated that your collision detection needed refinement, so I won't re-mention that. The numbers were difficult to read because of the weird font, however.

So, you've got a working game, with a bug or two to work out, and quite a bit of polish to put on. That's what the GDS is for.

Looks like a cool game, but i could not get the input to work at all.

Looks really good!

Funny though, 500MHz and Geforce 2 needed for a break-out!

mouse input was more than good for me, i suspect atleast one neglected "readmeh". The game lacked variety, tho it did remind me of my old pong games where dx would be constant and only dy would fluctuate, making the ball anoyingly slow when going straight and impossibly hard when at a sharp angle.

It works pretty well, but the graphics could be a little fancier.

Also, does anyone know what the first reviewer has against GetAsyncKeyState? I personally think that is the optimal way for retrieving keyboard input.
