Colony was the first game that I had ever released to the public, rather than horde to myself or share only with family. It was written in QuickBasic, and was based on the code for Tek's Tile Engine 3. Before I created this version, I had a text-based prototype with a superior world model, but the code for that was lost, and the result is this version. The graphics (programmer art or worse) are there, but the heart and soul of Colony is MIA.
