Description
I wrote this game around Christmas of 2003, and had fun in the process. It started off as an Asteroids clone, but I feel it's got enough features and spunk to have its own unique feel. The difficulty might be a little bit too high if you aren't used to these sorts of games, but the game starts off easy enough that even the most undeft will be able to get the hang of it. Powerups will appear when you completely destroy a meteorite, which include such things as: weapon powerups (machinegun, tri-shot, etc), speed powerup and shield/energy powerups. Sounds clichè, but it can get strangely addictive! :)
All comments and critique will be taken in, and will more than likely improve the game.
Update: Ship thrust/turning speed has been increased for added mobility, and the starfield in the background can be toggled with the 's' key.
