Posted - 10/15/2006 2:51:55 AM | I have to say I don't remember ever playing Commander Keen, but this game is awesome. Though, it's extremely short. I beat it in under 30 minutes (minus the castle just below the first level; can't seem to get by one of the platforms.)
The last level and the level with like 20 tomato-dropping bats flying overhead are my favorites.
You guys should make a sequel!

Posted - 8/7/2007 10:49:39 AM | The game was really fun and addictive. I'll admit having to play a LITTLE longer than Programmer16 to beat it though . The one level ( that you access on the middle left of the main map? ) seemed unbeatable for a while. Jumping down blindly you'd get hit by that rolling blue smiley face every time!
Very good creativity and great levels! The million tomatoes falling from the sky level was a riot! It helped to go up and left and get the three extra guys about 10 times... it gave me enough lives to beat the game.
Some constructive crits:
- The major pause before he jumps is a little awkward... though once used to it, it wasn't so bad.
- The piñata and kid with the stick was funny, but very easy to defeat.
- Is there a reason why the score resets on every level?
That's about it.
Well done!

I've heard that comment a lot. If I ever make a sequel, that will definitely be changed.

The Pinata+Alien enemy was really just a joke. They can't even hurt you.

That would be a bug. I'll be sure to fix that, doh.

It just gives me a warm feeling about old times. Thanks for bringing that kind of game to us :)
Ok, there is something:
-After the first level, sound turned off and I couldn't hear a thing. Everything that I've heared was the sound at the exit doors. That's all
Update: The problem with sound seems to happen every time you finish one of the levels. I saved that game after first map, quit the game, loaded and went into next map -> Sound and music were perfect. But as soon as I finished that map, sound didn't work
