About: Classic avoid-em-up action and the destruction of cardboard boxes in this retro platformer. Can you defeat Level Four?

Game Info How To Play Downloads Comments

Description

This project was to test and become comfortable with my Direct3D sprite library. It does not contain enough of a variety of features to be worth creating any more levels so I'm calling it finished and I hope it brings a small amount enjoyment to someone. It brought me an enormous amount of enjoyment to write.

Pilot the Orc ship around four levels of increasing difficulty. Collect ALL of the stars on each level to activate the teleport and fly into the teleport ring to exit the level.

Avoid the mines. They cannot be destroyed. In fact the only thing your missiles are useful for is destroying the cardboard boxes.

Land on switches to activate them and open door blocks, but (on level four at least) be aware of what is above you when you do.

For those of you persistent enough to complete all four levels, I hope you enjoy the firework effects.

This game has now been updated to include a level created by Programmer16, for which I am extremely grateful. It is so fiendish that even I have not yet completed it.
