About: This is a tech preview of The Lost Realm of Anoria, an MMO project designed to create heavily story driven gameplay within a classic fantasy world setting. Anoria has a deep and detailed back story and we want to make the player experience the game as one long adventure within the framework of a meaningful story.

So far everything looks nice. I didn't have any problems with anything. Fighting works, enviroment is rich for 2 months of development and I think you're going in the right direction.

It's nice to see a bit different system but I'm not sure about levels - aren't those necessary for players to show off before others / to know who is stronger and who is not?

Well, I'll follow your development progress - can't wait to see more.

(is this working online already? Can you see more players at the same time?)

Keep it on! :)

Hi Blodyavenger

Glad you like it!

If all goes to plan, within about 4-6 weeks, we're hoping to have character persistence, an initial items implementation and a basic quest system. I guess it will actually beging to be sort of a game at that point :)

As for levels: characters (as well as mobs/npc) are classified into tiers depending on the number of proficiency points they have accumulated and the distribution of those. This is similar to a classic levels system in that it provides a way to "measure" relative power.

And yes, the tech preview is fully multiplayer capable.
