Very cool game! I especially liked Level 4, although I must confess that I couldn't beat it.
I agree with the above poster. Although I would like to see more levels for this game, I'm looking forward to what game you'll make next(because you obviously know how to make them well).
Well done, EasilyConfused!!! It's a really fun to play game, because the levels are smartly created and, above everything else, the controls are SOOO tight! Impressive indeed!
I agree that it's a shame you're not releasing any more levels for that little gem, and was about to suggest just the same keeb did: release a level editor. I'm sure there'd be some people around (I offer myself, too...) who'd be more than pleased to add some extra levels to your game.
Thanks all. Unfortunatley, as I've explained in my journal where some similar comments have been made, I wrote the level editor with a second hand copy of Borland C++ Builder that I bought off ebay so I am unsure where I stand with regard to redistribution rights of the exe and the VCL DLLs.
I'm toying with the idea of writing a level editor either with Win32 API direct (scary), learning C# and writing one with Windows Forms (long process) or writing a full-screen one with Direct3D (would have to create a GUI) so if I ever finish that, I'll certainly release it with some settings to make Orc levels.
Hugely appreciate all the positive comments. Spurs me on for the next project.
[EDIT] A level editor is now available written in straight Win32 API with VS and statically linked so should run on anything. Details at my GameDev home page.
