Even as I’m writing this it seems to come off as much ado about nothing, but I believe that while the lesson is subtle and seems self-evident, it is a crucial one that you should be thinking about all along the development of your games. From the conception of the idea to the final gold master you should be evaluating each of these areas and their relations in order to attain a totally complete game that satisfies your hopes.

The point of all of this is that in the end, you want your hard work to really pay off and produce something that’s fun and that you can be proud of. Nothing sucks worse than spending months or years of your life pouring your blood, sweat and tears into a product and have it come out flat when people play it.
