Explosive BreakOut is a clone, a spin off, a knockoff of the original arcade game developed by Atari Inc. which was introduced on May 13, 1976. The game was conceptualized by Nolan Bushnell and Steve Bristow, and was influenced by the 1972 arcade game Pong.

This version was created in order to re acclimate myself with graphics programming. The game was written in C++ using DirectX 9 and utilizes the FMOD sound API. It is being released as is, semi-complete. By no means is this to be considered a complete game nor will it ever be. Irregardless of that fact, I hope that you get some level of enjoyment out of it, if only for a few moments.
